Air Duct

The production of air duct in a twinsheet thermoforming process. And it using cross-linked PE foam which is alternative to the traditional air ducts made by extrusion blow-molding of polypropylene.
With advanced technology and experience for producing chemically cross-linked PE foams have made Newcean as partner for manufacturers of twin sheet air ducts as well as car manufacturers.
Products Advantages
Due to the properties of the closed-cell PE foam the air ducts show excellent advantages:
- Light weight
- High temperature resistant
- Thermal insulation improvement
- Acoustic absorption
- Sealing function
- No condensation, no bacteria
- Odorless material, no smell, no fogging
- Easy production process, thermoforming and cutting
- Assembly easy, high flexibility, good restoring behavior
- Easy prototyping, cost-efficient prototype tools and fast prototype production
